Hello Again,
A great way to find out your personal carbon footprint is to go on www.energysavingtrust.org.uk and do the carbon cutter challenge. It will show you how much carbon dioxide you lifestyle and home is currently producing and give you some ideas on how to cut you carbon footprint. 30% of the UK’s carbon dioxide emissions are produced from our homes so it makes sense to book an energy performance certificate (EPC) to be carried out on your home which gives the most cost effective ways of cutting your carbon footprint. I am one of the few Domestic energy assessors who will turn up at your home using the most energy efficient mode of transport ‘my bike’.
So go green go Owene
Thanks

Hello and Welcome once again to the OweneEnergy.com Blog.
This week I thought I would let you know what an energy assessment involves. I will come your property in central London on my Bike (Very Green) and carry out a Domestic energy assessment (EPC). I will work out the volume for your property with my Laser (very flash) then look how it’s heated, the age of the property, position and build. Then look and the hot water system and insulation it should take me around 45 mins and after that you will get a report telling how efficient your property is and recommendation that will make it more efficient.
Hope that helps
