What does an energy assessment involve? |
A domestic energy assessment takes between 45 minutes to an hour. It involves: - calculating the volume of the property
- noting the property's age and position
- checking the method and efficiency of heating
- recording the quality of the insulation
The information is processed and the energy performance certificate (EPC) produced. The recommendations contained in the report help property owner's focus on the most cost effective sequence of actions for improving energy conservation. Our performance standard is to have all certificates processed and emailed to clients the same day that the assessments are completed.
